We offer a 3% discount for payment via cash / wire transfer off of our regular prices because we are passing the savings of not being charged a merchant fee for credit card transactions on to those customers who elect to pay cash for their purchase. Every store in the world that accepts credit cards as a form of payment has to take the merchant fee into account when pricing their merchandise. The way we figure it, we’re not paying a merchant fee when our customers pay cash. If we’re not paying a merchant processing fee for a credit card transaction, then why should you? Thus we offer our clients a 3% discount for cash payment via wire transfer. Don’t you wish that every store in America offered this type of discount for cash payment?
