Gemprint is the world's most sophisticated, non-invasive diamond identification and registration system. Gemprint is rapidly becoming the global standard for diamond identification. We are proud to have added Gemprint to our equipment portfolio and believe that it offers our clients a real benefit.

Until Gemprint, there was no way to positively identify individual diamonds without inscribing or physically altering the stone. While laser inscription can provide consumers with some peace of mind, we do not feel that it provides our clients with enough protection against fraud and stone switching because inscriptions can be forged and removed by thieves with relative ease.

Gemprint provides us with a scientifically precise way to positively identify any diamond, both at the time of purchase and later during appraisal or repairs. Every diamond is unique and Gemprint can detect minute difference between stones that often appear identical to expert gemologists. Gemprint has been used as conclusive evidence in a number of cases involving the recovery of stolen diamonds.

We Gemprint our entire inventory as part of our evaluation process. By maintaining a Gemprint of every diamond in our inventory we are able to positively identify the few diamonds that are sent back to us each year for a refund or exchange. If you would like to register a diamond that you have purchased from us in the International Gemprint Database we will be happy to do that for you for a nominal registration fee.  Here is How It Works!
